Hope all is well! Lot’s to share about the new music project. I left my label quite some time ago and I am now pursuing that folky sound I have always dreamed of. Of course, when you’re doing it all on your own it takes a bit longer, but I’m still here, we’re still here, and out we go with it now! The dashing fellow you can see pictured all over is my friend Daniel! We write everything just the twosies of us and we’ve been having a grand ole time. We met in college and have been jamming ever since. Hang on for the ride, cos it’ll be a doozy. ♥ Any questions?

Emily Osment: Hey Sivan. not country, bit of the south of course, but more folk than anything!
Alex Mu: Does this mean no more of the band? Or are you guys still together?
Emily Osment: Hey Alex, the band and I are all still very much in love with each other yes, and as far as booking some gigs in the future for this new sound you might be seeing them up there with me, but for now Dan and I are trying to get our feet wet on our own and ship out some demos
Brent Reddick: I enjoy the new sound and look forward to hearing some of your new work. Any set timeline on recording?
Emily Osment: Hey Brent, shopping around some producers and studios right now, trying to get a move on this before I go back to school in the fall. Yay college! :/
So, still there’s not a date for the new “album”, and even for concerts. Let’s pray for there’s a progress until Emily comes back to the college.

É oficial, Emily Osment está gravando um novo filme! As gravações estão no começo, mas contam com a presença de Emily Osment, Jenna Fischer, Rita Wilson, Steven Weber e Davenia McFadden. O filme se chamará Kiss Me – Me Beije, em português -, um novo drama escrito por Liz Sarnoff. A gravação do filme será em Los Angeles. O quinteto citado acima se juntará a Sarah Bolger and John Corbett.
A história acompanha uma adolescente chamada Zoe (Sarah Bolger) que é forçada a usar um colete ortopédico para tratar de sua escoliose. O filme mostrará a amizade de Zoe com sua mãe, com seus amigos e com um homem casado (John Corbett) que tem filhos, cuja babá é Zoe (Sarah Bolger).
Jenna Fisher interpreta a mulher de John Corbett, e muda de atitude quando descobre um relacionamento entre a garota e seu marido. A atriz Rita Wilson interpretará a mãe de Zoe (Sarah Bolger), fazendo a garota mudar de ideia e procurar afeito em outro lugar.
Emily Osment interpretará uma garota que esconde sua dor por ter um pai viciado em bebida alcoólica. Emily Osment será amiga de Zoe (Sarah Bolger) no filme.
Os nomes da maioria dos personagens ainda não foram revelados. O filme ainda não tem data confirmada, mas poderá sair entre o final de 2012 e o primeiro semestre de 2013.

It’s official, Emily is recording a new movie! The just started recording Kiss Me, which Emily Osment, Jenna Fischer, Rita Wilson, Steven Weber and Davenia McFadden are part of the cast. Kiss Me is going to be an indie coming-of-age drama.
The quintet join Sarah Bolger and John Corbett in the movie, written by Liz Sarnoff. The project begins shooting this month in Los Angeles.
The story tracks a teen named Zoe (Bolger), forced to wear a back brace to deal with her scoliosis as she navigates relationships with her mother, her best friend and a married man (Corbett) whose kids she babysits.
Fischer plays Corbett’s wife, whose kindly attitude toward Zoe changes when she discovers a relationship between the girl and her husband. Wilson is Zoe’s mom, who parents with tough love, ultimately pushing the girl to seek affection elsewhere. Weber is the girl’s father.
Osment is Zoe’s friend, living with the secret pain of an abusive and alcoholic father.
The names of all characters have not been revealed. The film still has not a confirmed date, but may release between the end of 2012 and first half of 2013.

Nós do Emily Osment Daily estamos começando um novo projeto: ‘Tô no Brasil’! O projeto consiste em uma reunião dos fãs brasileiros para formatarmos um vídeo de apoio a Emily e a sua banda para voltarem ao Brasil.
No projeto nós recolheremos vídeos, fotos e audios de fãs com mensagens de apoio para Emily & banda. Após isso iremos renderizar um vídeo e fazer de tudo para mandar para Emily Osment e sua banda! Temos algumas regrinhas, para não ficar desorgazinado!
Aceitaremos vídeos com limite máximo de 30 segundos, caso contrário será editado e/ou excluido do projeto. Não há limite de tamanho ou resolução, contanto que tenha 30 segundos no máximo. Use a criatividade! ;-P
Caso você fizer um vídeo, por favor gravar em uma qualidade razoável/boa (como câmeras digitais, ou de celulares com resolução maior).
Se você não se garante e/ou não conseguirá falar fluente inglês no vídeo, não desista! Grave em português, nossa equipe irá legendar em inglês.
